Who We Are
Janis-Shunta Insurance is an independent insurance agency headquartered in Muskegon, Michigan. We have been serving West Michigan families and businesses since 1994, with three office locations across Muskegon County.
As an independent agency, we are not tied to any single insurance company. We represent over ten carriers, which allows us to shop your coverage across multiple providers and find a policy that fits both your needs and your budget. When your circumstances change or rates shift, we can move your coverage to a different carrier without you having to find a new agent.
What We Do
We write personal and commercial insurance policies for individuals and businesses in Michigan and Illinois. Our coverage areas include auto, home, life, commercial liability, workers' compensation, and specialty lines like boats, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles.
Beyond placing policies, we help clients understand what they are buying. Insurance can be confusing, and we take the time to explain your coverage options so you can make informed decisions. When you have a claim, we are here to help you navigate the process and advocate on your behalf with the carrier.
